## Try this first

Most problems are one of a handful of things, and the fix is usually faster to
read than to ask about.

- **Something is broken and showing an error.** Find it in the
  [error library](/errors/) — every page has the cause, the fix, and how to tell
  when it means you've outgrown the plan.
- **A domain isn't resolving.** Check what the internet actually sees with the
  [DNS propagation checker](/tools/dns-propagation-checker/) before changing
  anything. Your own machine caches DNS and will lie to you.
- **Email isn't arriving.** Run the [email DNS checker](/tools/email-dns-checker/).
  If you're on free hosting, note that outbound SMTP is blocked — that's
  deliberate, and no DNS change works around it.
- **You're not sure what you need.** The
  [hosting calculator](/tools/hosting-calculator/) answers that in about thirty
  seconds, including when the answer is "not us".

## The community forum

The forum is where hosting questions get answered — by staff and by other
people using the platform. It isn't open yet; it opens alongside signups.

We're deliberately building a forum rather than a ticket queue. On a free
service, ticket volume drowns a small team, and the answers help nobody but the
person who asked. A public thread helps the next person with the same problem,
which is also why so much of this site exists.

## Reporting abuse

If you've found phishing, malware, or anything else breaching the
[acceptable use policy](/acceptable-use/) on our platform, report it — you don't
need to be a customer.

Include the full URL, what you think the problem is, and roughly when you saw
it. We verify everything ourselves, so you don't need to prove anything.

Confirmed phishing is removed within an hour. That number is the single thing
that determines whether our users' sites load properly anywhere, so we take
these seriously.

## Something on this site is wrong

Technical accuracy is the only thing this site has going for it. If a guide is
out of date, a command doesn't work, or a fix doesn't fix anything, we want to
know — we'll correct it and note the change.

## Contact routes

Signups aren't open yet, so the permanent contact channels — the forum, the
abuse address, and the status page — go live with them.

Until then, this page is the honest answer: there isn't a support queue to join,
because there is nothing to support. The

[tools](/tools/) are all live and need no account.
